Service providers facing legislative and regulatory requirements to support communications intercept need a proven solution to help them comply. Xcipio® is that solution.
As a matter of license, most countries around the world require service providers to provide some form of intercept capabilities. In many of these countries national legislation or regulations define which standards and methods must be followed when implementing a solution. With over 250 implementations, SS8 has helped service providers in 25 different countries meet their obligations. The key to helping so many service providers, in so many different countries, is the breadth of coverage offered by SS8. Xcipio is deployed in every major type of communications network (wireline, wireless, cable, WiFi, WiMAX, VoIP, CDMA, GSM, broadband data, Push-to-Talk, wireless data, etc.), is integrated with over 65 different versions of network equipment and provides support for 15 different international delivery standards. |
However, networks change rapidly and sometimes additional capabilities are required. This typically occurs when the existing network equipment doesn’t support an intercept function or a more advanced targeting criteria is needed. To this end SS8 provides the AXS-2500™ probe. The AXS-2500 works in conjunction with Xcipio, intercepting traffic at line rate, matching it against search criteria, identifying and correlating different points of access and delivering traffic to law enforcement. Since 1994 SS8 has helped hundreds of service providers meet regulatory requirements and satisfy the needs of law enforcement. Xcipio is deployed at some of the largest service providers in the world, has been field tested over and over again and offers customers a proven solution that scales to meet the needs of both small regional service providers and the largest nationwide service providers. |
