All countries around the world require service providers to provide some form of electronic communications intercept capability. In many of these countries national legislation or regulations define which standards and methods must be followed when implementing a solution.

However, networks and protocols change rapidly and sometimes additional capabilities are required. To address this challenge, SS8 provides the AXS family of passive probes. An AXS probe works in conjunction with Xcipio, monitoring all traffic at line rates up to 10Gbps. Specialized deep packet inspection hardware and protocol analysis algorithms match traffic against search criteria, identify and correlate target traffic at different points of access and deliver the intercepted target traffic to law enforcement.
