Peter van der Arend
Peter van der Arend is the elected chairman of ETSI/TC LI (Technical Committee on Lawful Interception). He works for Royal KPN Netherlands as Senior Designer and is heavily involved in the realisation of the Lawful Interception feature within KPN’s networks. He was one of the main contributors and rapporteur of the ETSI NL standard for LI within circuit switched and GSM networks in the Netherlands.

Prof. Dipl. Wirtsch. Ing. Michael Rotert
In 1991 Prof. Rotert was a founding member of the Internet Society. In 1993 Prof. Rotert founded one of the first ISPs in Germany (Xlink). In 2000 he was appointed Senior Vice President for research and development at KPNQwest. He has also been a Managing Director within several Service Providers. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Karlsruhe and achieved his professor degree in 1999 from the University of Technology, Karlsruhe. Michael Rotert has been chairman of eco (www.eco.de), the internet service provider association of Germany, since 2000. He is a consultant to the EC, UN and the US Dept. of Commerce for various internet related projects, plus he is active in the G8 Cybercrime group. Prof. Rotert is a long-time board member of EuroISPA EIIG Brussels - the European Internet Service Provider Association - and was elected President in 2003. |
