SS8 is a leader in communications intercept and a worldwide provider of regulatory compliant, electronic intercept and surveillance solutions. Lawful intercept solutions allow communication service providers to meet regulatory obligations while at the same time enabling law enforcement agencies (“LEAs”) and intelligence services to conduct electronic surveillance of both circuit and packet-mode communications in accordance with local laws and standards.
SS8 has a worldwide presence and offers products compatible with the most prevalent international standards. Our solutions are deployed in more than 25 different countries with over 250 installations.
SS8 opened our Kaula Lumpur sales and support office in the early 1990’s. This continues to be our base of operations for the Asia Pacific region, with key resources located in Indonesia and Singapore. Our regional presence continues to grow with the recent appointment of Mr. TB Tan as an additional Sales VP for the Asia Pacific region.
In addition to our regional sales and support presence, we opened a SS8 development center in Nanjing in 2005. This center allows us to work closely with local partners to develop regional interfaces. An Asia Pac center is also convenient for interoperability testing with regional equipment providers like Huawei and NEC.
With a local support center, SS8 is able to rapidly and efficiently support new installations and our existing customers, 24x7 in their language. In general, SS8 offers a wide range of services to our customers; from Project Management to installation services, to on-going support. We use standardized documents and practices to manage our projects, facilitate our implementations and execute customer acceptance testing. As a long time reseller of Sun servers, we leverage the global resources of Sun to provide local expert service in the support of the hardware we deploy.
SS8 trains and certifies all of our customers to make day-to-day operations as smooth as possible. Our training is performed at either our training facility or the customer’s. If an issue does arise, customers can utilize both our call center and/or our online web-tool for support, reporting and tracking issues.

SS8 works with service providers and LEAs worldwide to meet government mandates for lawful interception.
